- Resort and Second-Home Property Specialist have dedicated their time and money on real estate education to bring you quality service, and also subscribe to the Code of Ethics of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®.
- Resort and Second-Home Markets Course offered by National Association of REALTORS®: Core course that focuses on the knowledge and skill base that real estate professionals need to specialize in buying, selling or managing second homes in a resort, recreational, and/or vacation destinations, and properties for investment, development or retirement.
- Tax-Deferred 1031 Exchange Course offered by REALTORS® Land Institute: Evaluate situations in which a tax-deferred 1031 exchange would be advantageous for a client, explain the tax saving benefits of the 1031 exchange as an alternative to selling and buying real estate, and work with the client and a team of experts to structure the transaction.
- They must also complete two electives or hold the ABR®, CIPS, CPM® or CRS designations
